Webinar - Transparency and innovation: LCA and your wardrobe

THIS WEBINAR HAS ALREADY ENDED,
BUT YOU CAN WATCH THE RECORDING VIA THE LINK BELOW

Join our fireside chat about the environmental challenges in the textile & fashion industry and how Environmental LCA might help in finding more sustainable ways of working.
We all need clothes to wear - or have you ever left your house naked? - but we also need to make our wardrobes more sustainable.

Our expert panel will consist of Baljinder (Bowie) Miles, Natalia Moreira and Matthias Schulz.

Bowie has experience in design, yarn and fabric design, manufacturing and product development through to retail, innovation and trend directions. She has worked within the sports and lifestyle industries with Adidas and Puma to land Olympic and World Cup projects. She has used her skills to create the first apparel collections using C2C principles, recycling of cotton within a supply chain and garment to garment polyester recycling within Europe.

Natalia Moreira, PhD is a Postdoctoral researcher for the NEW COTTON PROJECT at the Aalto University in Finland. Natalia is an interdisciplinary researcher (between the fields of fashion, management, and engineering) and project manager with a circular and systemic focus on sustainable materials and their value chains.

Matthias Schulz is an experienced LCA expert and lecturer, owner and CEO of Schulz Sustainability Consulting. He is also one of Environmental Impacts Academy's teachers. Matthias has extensive international experience of sustainability from both business and academia.
